errata
The first edition of the rulebook states that Interviewing costs 2 Time. Interviewing costs 1 Time.
Master’s Degree: Instead of “Interview for free”, the 1 Time action on Master’s Degree now says “Get promoted at your Career, ignoring required symbols.”
Several cards in the first printing mention the “Life Deck”. This has been changed to the “Adulthood Deck”
Overworked, Personal Day, Near-Death Experience: Each use the keyword “Work” in the first printing. They have all been changed to “Career”
The Plumber Career has a briefcase in the right-hand cost to get promoted in the 2nd edition.

Interviewing costs 1 Time. The first printing of the rulebook is in error.
-
You can only complete actions once each round- if you spend 4 time at your basic Community action you will not move up twice on the Impact track.
-
You may always overspend time and energy on actions, without gaining the effects an additional time. This may help you unlock other card effects!
careers & partners
-
You can always interview for a new career or cheat on your spouse by going on dates while you’re Promoted or Married! If you play those cards though, you’ll have to move your career card to your Experiences stack/discard your Spouse to replace them with the new card. You’ll also lose any Promoted/Married tokens and will have to take the action to get Promoted/Married again.
-
Make individual discard piles for any discarded Career and Partner cards. When the decks run out, shuffle the discarded cards to form new piles.
-
The Plumber only needs to Interview once grown up to get promoted, no icons required!
-

solo mode
-
The Slash between two icons on Achievement cards means that you must collect that amount of either or both of those icons. To get the third tier of “The Kindest”, you could collect 7 Social icons, 7 Serving icons, 3 of one and 4 of the other, or any combination of them as long as they add to at least 7!
-

If the last Life Event would affect the next round, like New Years Resolution, the game ends before those extra effects can occur, so you’re safe!
